KMA Mayor orders transfer of Buokrom M/A Basic School teachers over extortion
The Mayor of Kumasi, Samuel Pyne, has directed the transfer of some teachers at Buokrom M/A Basic School following allegations of extorting GHC30 from pupils.
According to the Mayor, the decision was taken after investigations confirmed that the teachers had demanded the illegal payments from students. He stressed that such conduct undermines trust in the education system and will not be tolerated under his administration.
Mr. Pyne assured parents and guardians that the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) is committed to ensuring a safe and fair learning environment for all pupils.
