The project will provide participants with practical skills in entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and digital transformation. It will also connect them to mentorship opportunities, business networks, and potential funding to support innovative start-ups.
Speaking at the launch, the Vice-Chancellor said the programme underscores UPSA’s commitment to producing graduates who are industry-ready and entrepreneurial. “The UPSA-1000 Project is our deliberate effort to prepare young people for leadership in business and society,” he noted.

The project will bring together industry experts, business institutions, and international partners to deliver capacity-building workshops and real-world insights. UPSA hopes the initiative will position its graduates to contribute to Ghana’s socio-economic development and Africa’s growing role in the global economy.
